He knew Richter back when neither of them had a humaoid form - and he always had been clingy to Richter.
No that he found out that Richter transformed into a humaoid demon, he did some research and ended up doing the same. So he could stick to his "senpai". (which is quie ridiculous, seen how he is older than Richter and stronger considering the ancient powers.)
He beguiled Bloodia and now managed to have Richter adopt him - not that Richter had anything to say in that matter...
